Advanced Group Supervision in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)
About This Course
A small-group, ongoing advanced supervision program for experienced ISTDP-trained therapists who wish to deepen their clinical attunement and refine moment-to-moment psychodynamic work with complex cases.
This supervision focuses on supporting therapists in the transition from technical proficiency to greater relational depth, emotional presence, and precision in working with unconscious processes.

Prerequisite
A minimum of three years of ISTDP training under a certified ISTDP teacher is required.
Purpose of Supervision
This supervision is designed for therapists with foundational and intermediate ISTDP skills who wish to further develop:
Sophisticated clinical listening
Awareness of unconscious relational patterns
Capacity to work with intense emotional and relational phenomena
The emphasis is on fine-tuning clinical work, moving beyond technique toward relational attunement and moment-to-moment responsiveness with the patient.
